Childhood Limbo

Cultural, social, historical and psychological contexts are constantly imposed upon us in our everyday life. We get shocked both negatively and positively but these shocks also make us aware that the diversity brings change and progress. It is often the only way to develop, preserve individual autonomy and freedom of expression.
These photos, created during the period 2008-2009, convey a series of self-portraits and represent a search of identity through creative experiment in commenting diverse cultural and social roles, masks and appearances.
