August 2007: Lost and Found
August has landed and hit us all… with the disappearance of most Plotki contributors? Rather than seeing it as a big loss of the intellectual power, it is more logical to percieve it as the time of searching for and finding new ways.
On the chase to unravel the mysterious realm of male shopping we found ourselves loosing the “Zara men” and finding…
“Brussels. 2 am. Lambada. That’s it. Lost and Found. We don’t need more. That’s our contribution… I get myself a drink. Do you want one as well?”
Not only people loose their homes. Some houses do it as well. Read a story about a special one and its trip through the centuries!
I made these drawings after my visits to Sarajevo and Kosovo. They document some of the places and people I found. The juxtaposition of serious and trivial subjects in the series of drawings are a result of the way a person discovers a place and its history through meeting people and getting around.
